Ranger/Drakescale Question
Okay, well, I just got Drakescale Armor to solve some energy problems that I've been having because of my zealous bow. Anyway, the vest and leggings are supposed to give you +5 energy, and +1 energy recovery.
So I go out into the wild, and the +5 energy and +1 energy recovery aren't there. What's the deal? |

your old armor probably had same bonuses. Remember when you put the new gear on you replaced the bonuses the older peices had. If your not sure just go to the crafter you purchased your old leggings at and hover the mouse over the leggings and vest to see what bonuses they had

Remove the armor. Your energy pool will drop from 25 to 20 and you get ">>" instead of ">>>"
Put it back on and clearly it works as advertised. |

Well, I had 25 energy previously...does that mean my original armor (before the drakescale, I think it was leather) had a +5/+1 too?

As i said chances are the armor peices that you replaced also had energy +5 and recovery +1. If you replaced those peices with the same bonuses just different armor level you will not see any energy changes.

AFAIK the only thing drakescale does that regular old armor doesn't is give you an additional +15 fire protection. For more energy you want Druid's armor.

When you are buying armor and it says that it is
Drakescale Leggings Armor: 40 Energy Regeneration +1 Armor +30 (vs. elemental attacks) Armor +15 (vs. fire attacks) it means that you will have one extra Energy Regeneration (making your total out to be >>> instead of >>), 40 armor versus physical attacks, 70 armor versus elemental attacks, and 85 armor versus fire attacks on your legs. Your energy regeneration will be no different than if you had Leather Leggings Armor: 40 Energy Regeneration +1 Armor +30 (vs. elemental attacks) The stats that it lists are not cumulative on the armor you already have on, they are cumulative on your character's base stats. Look at the armor you have on before you buy new armor to see what will be gained and what will be lost. |
